Applying for charitable support

Our Charities Committee meet quarterly to consider applications from organisations whose projects are related to the following:

Water

We support projects with links back to our core business of water supply and wastewater treatment.

Environment

Our focus will be on enhancing the quality of life within urban areas by improving open spaces, especially natural environments that are adjacent to water, or that contain rivers or canals. By 'environment' we mean the environment in which people live as well as the natural environment.

Healthy living

We support projects that encourage individuals to look after their own health and encourage a healthy lifestyle through the benefits of water.

We do not support the following:

• Advertisements or tickets for fundraising events
• Political and sectarian activities
• Organisations with a racial or religious bias
• Individuals fund-raising for national charities
• Overseas charities
• Projects outside of the Thames Water region
