Team challenges

Team challenges are a great way for our employees to engage with local communities and have the added benefits of team building, increased motivation and commitment.

Our employees have got involved in a number of activities including digging holes, building woodland paths, weeding, clearing litter and planting trees.

Below are some examples of what we are doing to help the community.

Beale Park

A team from our graduate programme helped improve access to Beale Park, near Pangboure, by doing conservation work which included clearing an area of overgrown land.

The cleared space will allow visitors easy access to the park entrance from the riverside drop-off point a popular route for visitors travelling to the park by river cruise.

London Better Together

Employees from the Hampton Coal Wharf site helped clear an overgrown pond as part of a regeneration project in Hounslow.

Their efforts were part of London Better Together, the UK's biggest employee volunteering event, which saw 2,500 people helping out in their local community.
