Thames Water volunteer helping to clean up Reading
In March 2008, more than 100 of our employees volunteered to remove litter from woodlands, roadside verges and open spaces for the annual Reading Rescue - Rivers and Environmental Spaces Clean Up event.
We were the co-sponsor, and helped fund the tools that other local groups used.
Colleagues from across the business worked in four locations across Reading, helping to clear approximately five tonnes of rubbish.
