Direct Debit

With Direct Debit you can pay in full or by instalments.

By providing us with your bank account details we can arrange for your bill to be paid automatically, on any day of your choice between 1st and 28th of the month.

You will receive your bill 14 days before payment is deducted. In the unlikely event of a mistake, your bank or building society will make an immediate refund.

You can set up a Direct Debit by calling us on 0845 9200 887. Please have your bank account details and ten-digit account number to hand.

Alternatively, print, complete and post us the Direct Debit form.

All Direct Debits are secure and covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee.

Direct Debit Guarantee
This Guarantee is offered by all Banks and Building Societies that take part in the Direct Debit Scheme.

The efficiency and security of the Scheme is monitored and protected by your own Bank or Building Society.

If the amounts to be paid or the payment dates change, Thames Water will notify you ten working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed.

If an error is made by Thames Water or your Bank or Building Society, you are guaranteed a full and immediate refund from your branch of the amount paid.

You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by writing to your Bank or Building Society.
